This is very simple. Get an I-bolt with the weight rating you want. Use a stud finder to locate the ceiling joist and screw in.

The first thing to check is that the joist is certified. If it's not, you're looking at a major overhaul. I recommend talking to an electrician to make sure the installation is safe.

It depends on whether wiring is necessary. The most simple procedure would be attaching the mounting bracket/hardware through the ceiling texture/sheetrock (drywall) into a stud. How much it will bare dictates how its attached. Use a studfinder, or measure from above the roof and translate those measurements to the underside.
