Can you tell me how to check a stator in a Honda Dream?

This procedure will take a multimeter and will check for continuity in the stator. The Dream is an old motorcycle that is quite simple to work on. The other way to check the charging system is to set the multimeter on Volts and while it's running and put the positive and negative on the battery terminals

Well you just want to make sure that you are reading it correct. If the stator reading is less than 2.9 than it has less windings.

This must be a care that is not available in the US. I would make sure that when you get it fixed that you go to a qualified machine who works on foreign cars.

This one is just like on any vehicle. You will need to completely remove the starter from the vehicle. Then you can either have it tested at any parts store to see if the stater is working. Or connect it to the battery to see if the stater is working.

Method of checking a stator in a Honda Dream 1.Remove the plug,any burnt wiring so nothing impede a soldering job. 2 Add heat shrink tubing to wires and solder them.
