American Idol or Dancing with The Stars are great themes. Students could sing and you can have teachers judge them or students could team up with teachers and dance.
You could try a golden-age Hollywood theme, with red carpets and lots of glitter. You could also try a fun space theme with lots of gold stars and galaxies.
