Can you plug a laptop into a plasma TV via an S-video cable?

If not, how can I do it?

If the laptop and TV have the right ports you can, however it won't be the full HD resolution, try a real HD cable and it should work.

If both your Laptop and your Plasma TV have S-Video ports then yes you can connect the two. It should be a simple case of running an S-Video cable from one to the other and then outputting form the laptop to the TV. Be aware though that it will only transmit video, not audio.

It all depends on the TV and the laptop. Some laptops have HDMI output which is the best to use (as this sends HD audio and video from your computer to the TV. S-video will work if the TV and laptop have S-Video ports. If the TV has a VGA port you can also connect it via a VGA cable.
