Can you make any money selling magazines?

Technically, people can make some money selling magazines. The problem is, a person probably wouldn't sell enough magazines to make the process worthwhile. People are often hesitant to buy anything from someone going door-to-door, since there are many scam artists out there.

A lot of students do this magazine sale job to earn money while they are in school. While it isn't a scam, it isn't much of a money maker either.
