Yes you can. Usually they like to do it in the hospital after you've had your baby. You may have to stay a few more days for recovery but it's easiest to do it then.

Yes if you have both of these done it is a permanent form of sterilization. Having just your tubes tied is not permanent and can be reversed if you choose to do so.

Yes, for the most part the standard procedure for having your tubes tied includes burning them as well. This is often done at the time of birth, however some women elect to do it at a later date as it requires surgery.
