Can you give me more information on the stones that David used to kill Goliath?

I think they were smooth, flat stones that fit easily into David's hand. Their size really did not matter. The important fact is that God used David to perform a miracle. David had previously used stones to slay a lion and a bear. David said that God was with him then; God would be with him now against Goliath.

They were probably small and round, so they could fit in the slingshot. A heavy stone made of granite would have been my choice.

I think that the stones that were used by David to kill Goliath were just small pebble stones about the size of a brick. Maybe he was just hit in the head (temple) and that is what killed him. It was by the amount of faith David had for God that won him the fight.

I think that the stones were smooth, round stones. The Bible says in 1 Samuel 17:40 that David choose five smooth stones from a brook. (read 1 Samuel 17)

There is no way to know what kind of stone was used, because no one recorded that. A slingshot weapon uses a stone the size of a baseball or smaller.
