Can you get rid of Indian meal moths with vinegar?

Answer by  raun08 (1839)

Yes, but be careful to replace the vinegar often. Other than evaporating quickly, it can attract other pests like ants.

Vinegar does not work to kill meal moths or meal moth larvae. You will need to carefully seal away all your foodstuffs and make sure that moths cannot get into the packets. Pheromone traps will catch the adults and stop them from laying any more eggs. If the moths can't find a food source they will die.
