Can you get a nose bleed from immunizations?

Nose bleeds from a vaccination is not a common side effect. Unless you were given the live vaccine via nasal spray. This can cause some irritation, causing blood to rush to the site. More than likely the vaccine has not caused the nose bleed and if further problems persist you should contact your doctor.

A nose bleed is not a known complication of any common immunizations. That being said, everyone's body reacts differently when new substances are introduced to it. More likely, the nose bleed has some other cause.

I can't find any citations that tie nosebleeds to immunizations. All I can think of is if an infant or toddler is greatly upset by the shots, hard crying can lead to a nosebleed.

I would not expect a nose bleed as a result of immunizations, not even as an allergic reacation. Some common causes for nose bleeds would be dry air, forced heat or a heater running, in addition allergies to milk and dairy products as well as an injury could all be the cause.
