Yes, keeping in mind that if kept whole the amount of space they will take up, and that when you thaw them, the amount of water that you may need to remove in order to retain their original flavour. This is why in most cases, people will either sun dry them or can them.

Jalapenos can be frozen but keep in mind that it will loose it's crunch when thawed. The flavor will be the same so think about it'll be used.
