Work simplification process is basically a resource management and task arrangement task. One can simplify the work by proper organizing the available resources and breaking a large task into a number of small task which are easy to accomplish and independent of each other or at least sequencing in such a way that minimum time and effort is required.

The number of steps are reduced. The complexity is reduced, so that fewer actions are needed to complete a step. Paperwork or approvals are eliminated.
