You can cook a lot with a toaster oven and microwave, but I wouldn't go so far as to say that you can cook anything. For example, you need an oven to cook large dishes like cakes and casseroles.

Toaster ovens and Microwaves are not as accurate when baking. In addition they do not offer the capabilities to create stove top creations that require Sautéing.
