Depending on your need, you can find all types of aluminum stock at hardware stores. If you need heavier stock, usually local machine shops can provide aluminum stock. Another sourse is metal recyling facilities which get large industrial aluminum stock as waste which they will gladly resell.

Yes. Most construction supply or metal supply stores sell aluminum sheet metal. You may also be able to special order some through your local home improvement store, or, if you don't need much, your local scrap yard or scrap metal dealer. Some online craft suppliers may also sell small sheets for use in metalworking projects.
