Can you boil an egg in the microwave?

I suggest not trying this! Though there may be possible ways, I know for a fact that placing an egg in water and microwaving on high will, well, explode the egg. Take the time and use the stove; the egg really needs several minutes in the water in order to boil.

Half fill a cup with water, then bring to the boil in microwave. Cover egg completely with alfoil making sure no shell is showing. Place egg in boiled water in cup and microwave on high for four minutes. Perfect every time.

First boil the water, then place the egg in and cover it, NO SHELL SHOWING! Back into the microwave for about 4 minutes.
