Yes, you can. Do not use velcro with an adhesive back, because this will foul the needle. Pin the velcro in place on your project (Be careful not to stretch the fabric). Using a sharp, heavy duty needle and polyester thread, stitch it down using small or medium stitches.

Yes you can attach velcro with a sewing machine. It is usually best to get the roll of velcro as opposed to the short strips, so that it will properly feed through the machine, and can be cut to the right size. Just follow the same steps you would for attaching lace.

Yes! Velcro is very sewing machine friendly! Straight stitching or zig zag stitches work well to attach each side. Work within your item, don't try and overcomplicate things. A few tacking stitches will work in most cases.

Yes. Simply pin the velcro in place and sew close to the edges using a straight stitch. Make sure you do not use the self-stick velcro (with peel-away backing) or other glues because it will gum up your needle after a few stitches.

pin the piece of velcro into position and place you needle to the side of your foot. lower the foot slowly and then stitch carefully along the selfedge of the velcro strip avoiding the hooks or loops of the velcro. repeat for the other side making sure you sew all the edges in place.
