The Word of Wisdom specifically bans the intake of tea and coffee, but it doesn't list caffeine as the reason. Some believe it's the reason so they abstain from caffeine.
As a Mormon, this is somewhat of a gray area. There is nothing specific saying we can't drink caffeine, but a prophet once said, "good Mormons don't drink caffeine. "
