Are energy drinks unhealthy?

I am concerned that my husband drinks so many energy drinks.

Answer by  fancbiz (952)

No but prolonged use exposes the body system to many impurities contained in the preservatives and flavoring recipes used. It is good to use alternative natural drinks or fruit juice in order to be on the safer side and assist the body by avoiding toxins as much as it is possible to avoid.

Yes. Energy drinks are very unhealthy. They contain large amounts of caffeine which are extremely addictive. Caffeine is a drug. People who do not get enough caffeine will go through withdrawal symptoms, such as headaches and the shakes. Too much of it can result in elevated heart rate and blood pressure.

Energy drinks such as gatorade are ok in moderation. They do still contain a lot of sugar, which in excess is not good. Engergy drinks such as red bull also have a great deal of sugar and caffeine which should also be taken in moderation.

They are very high in caffeine. And if you are a woman, the doctor say to stay away or limit your consumption. I don't think its any better for men.
