Magnets are not known to cause headaches. They are in fact used to treat them in many cases. It helps to know the direct cause of the headaches such as sinus pressure. Knowing the cause of the headache will allow the magnets to be placed correctly for more effective treatment.

Magnets do cause headaches in some people as do cell phones and navigation devices,I suffer from this problem and no one can help me. Glen add a comment
Simple handheld magnets cannot cause a headache. Headaches are caused by a contraction of cells usually due to stress or eating/drinking habits. While it's true that magnets due exert a force on moving electrons, even magnets in MRI's aren't strong enough to hurt.
Your everyday household magnets aren't strong enough to cause your head to ache. More likely it's stress or circulatory issues that are causing your migraines.
they are not known to cause headaches. in fact they are sometimes used to treat them. the placement of the magnet is determined by the type of headache etc, sinus, stress, each type has a different spot for the magnet
No, in fact, Magnetic Therapy is used to treat certain types of headaches. Depending upon the type of headache, the magnet is placed at the appropriate spot.
Also get a weird un-usual headache when I hold the magnets you can find in hard-disks and others of same strength.
It's not like a regular migraine that I have gotten but a weird headache with a feeling that the magnet is causing it. Not instant relief when no magnets.

I woke up with a severe migraine, nearly went to the hospital. It lasted all day until I took off the magnetic bracelet I bought yesterday. It was a cheap one. My other one never did this. add a comment
I get a headache from touching even weak magnets. It is also offensive that people think it is made up. It does happen, certainly if magnets can treat them, they could just as easily cause them in others?
