Injesting anything, whether natural or manmade, which is not prescribed to you can be dangerous. Especially when experimenting with drugs which can alter the mind and body. I would not advise smoking your cat's catnip as it may have effects that are undesired, such as heart palpitations, memory loss and other nervous system effects.

Yes, you are able to smoke catnip. Yet the effects that it has on your cat is not necessarily the same as it would be on you.
