Can I scan the internet on a psp?

Yes you can scan the internet on the psp, only limit is you cannot watch videos, unless its a hacked psp. You can go on aim, chat with your friends, and surf google images and so forth.

It depends on what you mean by scan. If you mean browse than yes you can. The psp comes with a browser that lets you navigate the internet. If your referring to some other action then all I can say is the only way to use third party software on your psp is if you install a custom firmware.

To browse the the Internet with a PSP, you must boot the system, once the menu has loaded go to the globe icon (the furthest to the right. ) Once the menu expands choose web browser so it can launch it. At the browser press Y to enter the browser's menu. On the icon to the left enter the URL.

If you mean brows the internet, yes you can. PSP's come with built in web browser and uses wifi, just enter in the WEP key and your ready to surf.

It is possible to browse the internet on all Sony PSP models. However, there are some limitations. Most websites take a while to load, and flash video (YouTube, Google Video, etc. ) will not load properly. That being said, you can use audio podcasts and internet radio, both of which work without a kink.
