Gates born in Seattle, Washington on October 28, 1955. His father was a lawyer and mother was on the board of directors for First Interstate BancSystem. In 1973 graduated Lakeside school and scored a 1590 on his SAT. He got into Harvard and in 1985 launched Windows. Rest is history!

Bill gates joined Harvard University in 1972, but he left it in his first year to start with a new project, which we all know as Microsoft. He has retired from the CEO post in 2008. You can find more information online very easily.
