My bush is next to the tomato bush and there has never been a problem. I plant the tomatoes early and the butterfly bush bloom in the late summer. You might check with your nursery for the best time to plant.

You can grow this plant in the same area. It does attract bees along with butterflies and hummingbirds, and is beneficial in pollination. It likes full sun.

YES just plant it in a space so the tomatoe plant's don't shade it from the sun,I don't think they should be fertilized the same tomatoes Can and do eat alot of fertilizer and the butter fly bush might get nutrient burnt, But yes they will do fine provided the right mix of air.space, nutrients and Sunshine.

Yes, as long as you leave two to three inches separation between the upper leaves of the tomato plant and the upper leaves of the butterfly bush. Tomato plants need direct sunlight.

you can grow them together,as the bush is going to provide your tomatoes with shade during hot climate .Due to the leafy nature of the bush, there will be more than enough shade for your tomatoes

I'm sure you could but if it were me I wouldn't because they draw alot of bugs and I wouldn't want the pests that close to my vegetable garden garden pest control is not fun.

I wouldn't plant anything that attracts butterflies around any vegetables or tomatoes. They could lay larva on the plant and affect the tomatoe buds.
