Yes, but you'll have to have a paternity test for which you will probably need a court order. Unless the father is eager to be involved with his child and provide financial support. The flip side that you have to be prepared for is visitation. Once the paternity is confirmed, the father has every right to sue for parenting time.

You should be more than able to go after child support from the father. The burden you have of getting that child support is to prove paternity. You can have that court ordered. Once paternity is established, you can not only go after future payment but back payments as well.

Yes you can, you will need to contact a family attorney or go to your local health department and let them know whom the father is. At which time you will file a claim with the courts suing him for support of the child or children. The courts will then decide on the case.

As long as you can prove who the father is then they legally have to pay child support regardless of whose name is on the birth certificate.

Most states will require paternity testing before any child support order is issued whether or not he is listed on the birth certificate. They won't just accept "any man".

Yes you can. Since the father did not sign the birth certificate the state of Florida will require that both parents and the child take a DNA test to determine paternity. Then they will continue with the order of support if he indeed is the father.
