Can I change a Prelude hubcap to a five lug?

If it is only a hubcap then you can change it if the center diameter is the same size as the one currently on the car. The bolt pattern does not matter with hubcaps, but if it is a one piece rim then the answer is no, they won't work.

This depends on if the lugs go through the hub cap. If the cap you have now is simply a cover and has "dummy lugs" on it, then you can swap to a 5 lug cap as long as it is the same diameter as your wheels. If the lugs go through... you cannot switch to a 5 lug cap.

If you want to convert from a four lug wheel to a four lug you need to swap part form 4th and 5th gen cars. Preludeonline. com has a good faq.
