Cola can remove blood stains. But then wouldn't you end up with a Cola stain? Use detergent, that's what it's made for.

Mythbusters TV show, episode 5... Cola CONFIRMED to remove blood stains. Works on fresh or dried blood stain unless previously dried in dryer. Pour cola on stain and let sit for ten minutes or so, but do not let cola dry. Wash article as usual. Hydrogen peroxide can perform the same function.

Cola is a very good abrasive. It can even strip paint off a car. It can if you soak the stain in some soda it should loosen up the stain. If you are unsure about it ad some water to it. Soda does wash out in the wash so your safe with this one.

I actually have not tried cola before. I know it removes battery acid. If you are trying to get rid of blood stains I would use Oxiclean. I have used it and besides pollen, it has cleaned many if not all other stains from my clothes. I highly recommend it.
