Yes these do what the packet says they eat weeds literally, easy to use very light and versatile and cut through weeds like a knife through butter. You can clear a large area in no time at all, and cleaning is easy as well and can be put by in the smallest of space.

Troy Built weed eaters are a good product. They happen to be the same as the old Ryobi weed eaters, just with a new name and color scheme on them.

Well in 2001 MTD bought their name. But they still make an excellent product. They are still always going to be dependable and they are going to last. So go ahead and spend the extra cash cause it is worth it. I have owned some Troy-Bilt mowers and I am very happy with my purchase.

yes they are. troy-bilt is a long lasting very reliable brand. this product will last you a long time. and most troy-bilt products come with a great warrenty just in case you do have problems.

Would never own another. MyTB575ES needs a new carb. at the tune of about 70.00 bucks. It only has about 6 hrs running time on it. Also the line feed seldom works. Hope someone on craigslist gives 20.00 for it so I can buy something else!

After reading many reviews I believe that Troy-Bilt weed eaters are worth the extra money. Most generic lawn tools that can be found much cheaper, don't provide the proper reliability like a Troy-Bilt weed eater. Just about all repair stores are happy to work on them and the parts are more affordable.
