Most black sand beaches are located in Hawaii, however there is a black sand beach in California. It is called The Black Sand Beach, and is located on the Lost Coast, in Northern California. You can swim here, but most people hike. There is "Black's Beach" in La Jolla, but it has normal sand, and is frequented by nudists.
