Oprah met with Lisa Marie Presley when Oprah visited Graceland. Oprah's family and the Presley's are originally from Mississippi. Oprah had previously commissioned genealogical research and learned that she and the Presley family have family members in common. This then is why she later referred to Lisa Marie as "my little cousin. "
