In Minnesota, food (groceries, not prepared food like in a restaurant or deli) and presecription medications are not taxed. Herbalife is neither and so it is taxed. At the time of this writing, the tax for this kind of product in Minnesota is 7%.

Food, not including prepared food, and prescription drugs are exempt from Minnesota sales tax- as Herbalife doesn't fall into these criteria, it is not exempt from sales tax. Herbalife has a tax chart on its website and states that the Minnesota state tax on its products is 7%, you can be guided by that.
