I now for sure that their riding lawn mowers are one of the best. They are extremely sturdy and easy to operate. However they may not have high tech features on most models. Durability is their main strength.

Ford makes some of the best engines in the world and I would think that their lawn mowers are good too. I don't know how they compare to other companies that make only lawn mowers though.

I would not think that buying a Ford lawn mower would be a good idea. I don't think their expertise is in the lawn maintenance sector, and also feel that they would have a rather high cost factor.

The advantage of Ford mowers is that they are reasonably priced, well maintained and easy to get replacement parts for. They are not as high end as a John Deere but fine for most uses.

If you want something easy to repair your self they are fine, but as far as over all durablity and cutting power they leave a lot to be desired. The blades really don't do a very good job and dull quickly. So, unless you want to spend time sharpening or replacing blades, mowing over and over again, skip it.

No, Ford lawnmowers are not a good purchase to make. Ford is a car company, and they do good with that, but they should stay out of the lawnmower business.
