Fonseca cigars are a brand name that is used for cigars produced in the Dominican Republic and Cuba. The ones manufactured in the Dominican Republic are not illegal to import into the country. However, due to the embargo that the United States has with Cuba it is illegal to import any Cuban goods into the country, including cigars.
