Are Chinese sewing machines of good quality?

The yamata is a good quality sewing machine, i have owned mine for over four years now and not had nearly as many problems as i did with my singer.

Yeah they are really good for sewing. Where do you think all of our clothes come from. most of our major name brand clothes are sewn in china by those machines. I would suggest buying one why not. You can get them cheaper too than the regular Singer brand found here.
