While they're not as common as comforters and duvets for bedding covers, you can often buy chenille bedspreads in bedding stores. The look is often used in guest rooms where the bed won't be getting a lot of use and can hold something a little more decorative. If you have a genuine spread, use it with pride.

Chenille bedspreads have recently re-gained popularity, this is due to the shabby-chic, retro look. Favoured colours are pastels, pink and blue in particular. They look particularly charming with floral wallpaper which is also in fashion again.

To be honest with you, the bed spreads you quote are totally out of style but then again it just depends on what you like. If you like them then use them as long as no one sees them. But then again your home should be about your preferences and what you like.
