Are 3-D greeting cards tacky?

I think 3-D greeting cards are a great way to send out a special thought to someone. I think most people would be thrilled to get a 3-D greeting card.

It all depends on the individual card - some 3D cards are genuine works of art and show a great deal of effort. Others are just ordinary cards. As with all things, use your judgment of the receiver. They are certainly no more tacky in general than 2D.
