Are 2004-2006 nickels worth collecting?

No not really. I mean you will have to wait at least 80 years before they are worth anything more than a nickel.

The fact there were thousands upon thousands of 2004-2006 nickels minted makes their value considerably less than other coins. However, if you happen to lay your hands on an MS or PR 70 it would be worth your while as those are considered "perfect" strike coins.
