Power in the name of Jesus most likely refers to divine punishment. Things like bad things happening usually mean that one has done bad to deserve this happenings. Do unto others what you want done unto yourself.

In the Bible the name Jesus is the most powerful name of all history.When you mention his name satan will flee from you.the only name that exist then and now. he is the alpha and the omega the beginning and the ending. His name will last forever.God choosen name to be the savior of the earth.
