A cowboy rode into town on Thursday and stayed two days and left on Monday, how is this possible?

Okay, so the cowboy arrived on Thursday, stayed Friday and Saturday, left Sunday morning on his horse named Monday. Or, did the cowboy arrive in town Friday on his horse named Thursday, stay Saturday and Sunday, and leave town Monday morning?

You can do this a couple of ways depending on the horse's name. For example, the cowboy arrived on Saturday, his horse's name is Thursday, he left two days later.
