Electrical shorts could cause this problem. A factory default in computer chip could cause this problem. The brand of the vehicle could just be the default in all truth and honesty.
Your Chevy Express might have water on the door master switch. I will recommend checking for moisture and dry with compressed air if this does not work make sure terminals are not corroded.
Possible short in the wiring leading to the power lock module, or to the master switch. Check all wiring to the module, to ensure there are no shorts. Also check all vehicle grounds.
If your Express has remotes there is likely a problem with the remotes or the receptor for them. There also could be some sort of interference from an outside source. You should also note that if you have just recently added some electrical componets to your vehicle you may have grounded something to your lock circuit.
I know this has probably been on here a hundred times before, but can
anyone, tell me the procedure for entering the program mode for the remote
door, locks and the procedure for programming them? I had one go bad and got, another on ebay now I need to set.
