Pain in the lower extremities can be caused by any number of things, including strain, poor circulation, a vitamin deficiency and several conditions that affect muscle, soft tissue and bone as well. It is best to see your physician for a full assessment.

Your legs can hurt for a multitude of reasons. Stretch them often, especially after waking up and before going to sleep. Make sure to move them often and not keep them confined for too long. Massages/heat can help make them feel better faster.

Leg pain, or heaviness in the legs may be caused by muscle strain, or over use. Varicose veins commonly cause leg pain, especially in the back of the legs.
