Where is the best place to go to get work done on a Dodge engine?

My husband swears we can only go to the dealership, however I do not want to pay those prices.

Dealer in most cases do higher quality work because their mechanic are trained for that brand. Normal shops typically have less experience but call around and check on there reputation.

While there is no sure fire way to find a good, non-dealer, shop it certainly pays to keep shopping around until you find one. I would start by looking up repair shops in your area, and then look them up on the Internet for reviews. Second, ask friends and family if they know of a good mechanic.

If you have a Pep Boys in your area, they would be worth a try. I have used them for my Nissan instead of the dealship.

You can go looking around at a repair shop, you can get an estamet on it, but go to more than one place to find the cheapest one.
