First, use an oil filter wrench to confirm the filter is on tight. If so, then you're going to have to drain the oil and put a new oil filter and gasket on. An auto parts store will have what you need, and it's not a difficult process.

This is almost certainly the result of a defective oil filter. You should replace the filter; it is essential to drain the oil before doing this. Another, much less likely, possibility is that your engine has too much oil pressure. This would be more costly to fix.

Remove the oil filter and check it for damage; replace it if necessary. If the filter is okay, then clean both mating surfaces and check to see that any gaskets are in good condition. Check your torque specs and reinstall the oil filter.

Whenever you find oil is leaking from the oil filter it will be dangerous to your engine and damage or seize the engine. If you find the gasket is damaged below the filter you change it. or filter assy is cracked replaced it. otherwise you check it with good mechanic.
