By year eight things could become boring. Keep your marriage vibrant or you will end up as roommates. The key is to assess whether you would like to spice things up or to call it quits. You can go for marriage counseling to get ideas of how to make it more of a marriage or you can file for divorce.

It is crucial to remember how you began. Recall what things drew you together 8 years ago, and commit to revisiting those places and events.

Work on building romance back into your relationship. Set aside special times for "dates", make the effort to dress up occasionally, and plan new activities with each other.
