What should I do about recurrent granulation tissue?

It depends on the location of the tissue and whether it is causing problems. Granulation tissue can be part of the body's normal healing process. If it becomes troublesome, it can be cauterised, but will eventually scar and cease to cause trouble.

Some women develop granulatoin tissue at the site of the vaginal cuff, which continues to form even if multiple surgerie. As long as there is no bleeding, it will scar over and recede. I suggest no surgery unless the granulation tissue is presenting a problem (bleeding, infection). First try treating infection with antibiotic crams and cautery to control the bleeding.

First, see your doctor. He can prescribe antibiotic cream to help relieve the symptoms, which include bleeding and/or scarring. If this doesn't solve the problem, your doctor could pursue a surgical solition. However, if your symptoms are bearable and not causing too much discomfort, the condition will eventually go away on its own.

Give your body time to heal and let the tissue recede on its own. More surgery will only cause more scar tissue to form. It is very common for this recurrance.

Drink plenty of water. Eat pomegranate at least one at a time. Don't exert yourself too much. Take at least 8 hours sleep.
