If I'm passing tissue during pregnancy, but there is no bleeding, should I see my doctor?

For the past three weeks, I've been passing tissue into the toilet. I'm concerned that I may miscarry. This is my first pregnancy.

Yes, please call and see your doctor as soon as possible. You should not be having this kind of discharge during pregnancy, so it's something that definitely needs to be checked out. The doctor will examine you to determine just what is going on and give you advice on the status of the pregnancy.

That is very unusual and I'd say yes. I had two pregnancies and I have never experienced that before. That is scary and worrisome. If you are in doubt about seeing a doctor, try calling a nurse line of your local hospital and ask that question. They can definitely give you some insights about it before seeing a doctor.

yes, anytime there is something happening during pregnancy and you don't know what is going on you should see your doctor. i hope that there is nothing wrong and that you deliver your baby full term. if you aren't bleeding, hopefully that is a good sign. good luck to you.
