The starting out pink and then turning dark red probably mean nothing, but the fact that it's longer than normal could indicate an early miscarriage. These are often called chemical pregnancies. It could also just be a slightly different period for no obvious reason. Watch for excessive bleeding or pain.

this is perfectly normal for lots of women. your uterus had difrant levels of "getting rid of the trash" its like spring cleaning
