Capellini pasta is a thin extruded noodle made of flour. The name means "thin hairs." The pasta is sold as long strands which are sometimes coiled like a nest. Angel Hair pasta (Capelli d'angelo, in Italian)is an even thinner variety of capellini. A light thin sauce complements the delicate texture of any capellini pasta.
