If your well system shuts off you should first turn off any power to your system or pump. Next, and easiest thing to check would be the points on your pump. If you are unsure how to do this, you should call an electrician or a certified well system technician.

If your well system shuts off, the well may be dry. This can happen to aging wells. You should call a well specialist to evaluate whether or not a new or deeper well needs to be drilled.

If your well system shuts off, one option is to close the pump and faucets and leave it for an hour. It maybe that the well has run out of water and needs refill. If this would not work, let an expert take a look at your pump maybe there is a problem with the pressure switch or other parts.
