There are plenty of reasons for your heart to stop momentarily. You could be huffing something. You could have a heart attack. It is possible to overdoes on caffiene and stop your heart. You could go into enough shock to stop your heart for a few seconds. You could even die and be recessatated and come back to life.

If your arteries are clogged, this can lead to a heart attack, or even just a minor lapse in your heart beating. Too much cholesterol can build up in your arteries, causing a blockage, which leads to heart your stopping momentarily.

I had the same problem, my heart would stop the start beating again after a short pause. I was taking a water pill (had been for years) and it was causing a decrease in my potassium. My doctor prescribed 1-3 MicroK 10 MEQ. /day.
