A vet will xray it and splint it, if no healing has happened after a week, or it is infected then he may advise that you put it down.

A birds metabolism is very high and that leg will likely heal and be set where it is probably within an hour. If that bird is in captivity and if the leg doesn't interfere with its eating or drinking you can probably let it live out its life.
