Pus drainage is due to infection. Get te dog treated immediately and find out the cause of infection and make sure you avoid it a 2nd time.

Pus is a sign of infection, so you should take the dog to a vet to see what the infection is from and to get antibiotics. Infections can get serious quickly so it's important to get treatment quickly. You also need to determine the cause of the infection so it doesn't recur.

Seek a consult from your veterinarian. Check for any embedded foreign objects in the area and flush with a saline solution. Do not let your dog lick the infected area. Follow the advice of your vet and be sure to administer any meds prescribed for your pet.

Even though infection is rare it is possible. Depending on the color of the pus and if it drips the prepuce might be infected. Otherwise, discharge from the prepuce is normal, it is called smegma and it is usually clear or yellowish. However, consulting your local vet is still highly suggested. That way you can get confirmation of no infection.
